Vice Admiral Rune Andersen is a Norwegian naval officer and the current Chief of the Norwegian Joint Headquarters (NJHQ), which commands all Norwegian operational military activities at home and abroad. He assumed this role in November 2023. A career Navy officer, he previously served as the Chief of the Royal Norwegian Navy from 2020 to 2023.
